From coast to coast there are ski hills that are recognized around the world for their powder snow, views that inspire magical moments and adventures that have locals and visitors returning for more. Just a 2-hour drive north of Montreal, Mont Tremblant has a busy ski village atmosphere in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains and is known for their Festival Rando Alpine Tremblant adding yoga and fat biking to visitor adventures. Over in Newfoundland, Marble Mountain offers night riding, and for that very unique Eastern Canada experience has reported the occassional 'moose on the loose'! Ski touring in the Rockies (across Alberta and BC) certainly reaches epic levels as beginners and daredevils opt for heli-skiing, cat-skiing, multi mountain passes and finishing off with a dip in one of several nearby natural hotsprings. Additionally, British Columbia's Whistler Blackcomb resort hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics with good reason; 200 marked runs, 16 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, the Peak2Peak Gondola in addition to the Bobsleigh Sliding Center and one of the longest ski seasons in North America. There is no doubt that choosing one Canadian ski destination is a difficult task - best to return for multiple visits.
