    Settled on the banks of the Swan River in the 1800s, Perth is known for its laid back atmosphere and warm, sunny climate. Characterized by numerous waterways, green parks, a compact city center and uncrowded beaches, Perth's restaurant and bar scene has flourished in recent years. Tour the city by motorized tram or courtesy bus, join a cruise on the Swan River, enjoy a glass of Western Australian wine in a riverside restaurant, or explore one of the city's most popular icons - the 400 hectares of natural bush that forms the spectacular Kings Park in the center of the city. Perth is also the home of the world's oldest operating mint, museums and art galleries and a host of historic character buildings.

Explore downtown Perth via the pedestrian friendly malls, ornate arcades, trendy laneways, back streets and dirty alleyways. Originally, not of any interest to the British, it was only when French and Dutch explorers started sniffing around that the English decided there should be a colony in the West of Australia. Starting at the historic Perth Town Hall, the tour winds through the lanes and arcades that cut through the city as you learn all about the stories, people and places that make Perth what it is. You will explore landmarks including The State Buildings, London Court and Wolf Lane hearing stories delivered by your knowledgeable tour guide. No stone goes unturned on this tour! At the conclusion of the tour, relax at a cool local bar where the first drink is on us. A great afternoon out in Perth. The tour is approximately 2.5hrs in duration, however actual walking time is approximately 75 mins. There are regular opportunities to rest. Toilet breaks available mid tour. One of only a few sites in the world to meet all four of the natural criteria for World Heritage listing, the enormous 2.2 million hectare (5.4 million acre) Shark Bay World Heritage area is the place to go if you want to see marine life in spectacular abundance. The Wulyibidi Yaninyina trail is also a must do, a 1.5km walking loop that offers incredible views.

  • Monkey Mia to Coral Bay

    Coral Bay is a small settlement that lies protected from the Indian Ocean by the Ningaloo reef, Australia's only fringing reef. In contrast to other locations the coral starts right at the water's edge. The fish and the coral are easily accessed and can be experienced either snorkeling or on a coral viewing boats. It is about 50 km to the North of the tropic of Capricorn, but weather is mild, without the humidity that is often associated with tropical climates, making it the perfect spot for year round for visitors.

Apart from the great fresh food on offer there are many attractions to visit in and around Carnarvon. Two landmarks that have had a significant influence on the history of Carnarvon are the Carnarvon Maritime Heritage Precinct and the OTC Satellite Communications Dish. The rugged coastline, only a short drive north of Carnarvon, features outstanding coastal cliffs at Cape Cuvier, plus great fishing, swimming and snorkeling all year round. Pack a hamper and visit Rocky Pool and Chinamans Pool which are typical Australian waterholes nestled amongst Ghost Gums.

Our tours are suitable for all age demographics. The average age of travelers is typically 45+

There are options for single travelers to join most tours. Solo Travelers can choose to pay the single supplement and have their own room throughout the tour. For those willing to share, we also have a Twin Share option that is offered for the majority of our tours. This means you will be sharing the hotel rooms with another single, same gender traveller who also books the Twin Share option. If this is the case, there will be no single supplement charged to either of you. If we are unable to match you with another Twin Share traveler, there may be a single surcharge applied to cover the full cost of the rooms on some of our longer tours. Please enquire before finalizing your booking for full details.

This tour has a low level of physical demand, although there may be some activities or sightseeing tours that require walking short distances. Please inquire if you have any mobility restrictions before completing your booking to ensure this tour is right for you.

Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The weight limit for this suitcase is 32 kilograms/60 pounds. Baggage handling is provided at the hotels in our tour packages. Please advise our reservations staff if you will be bringing additional items such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. You may also bring one small soft-sided carry-on bag, which should easily fit into the overhead shelf of the coach. Each person is responsible for his/her own carryon luggage. Remember to check your airline baggage restrictions if you are flying, as they may differ from Anderson Vacations Tours guidelines.

The suggested allowance for non-included meals is $40.00 — $60.00 CAD per day (includes tipping).

Yes! There are many meals included on our fully escorted tours. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking so we can ensure there are alternative meal choices and arrangements made for you.

For your convenience, gratuities for local guides and meals stated on the itinerary are included in the price of the tour. For meals not included in your tour package please remember that it is customary to tip your server 15-20% in North America. Gratuities for your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are left to your discretion.
