  • Day 1 - Arrive in Moncton

    Your trip begins upon arrival in Moncton where you will collect your rental car and stay the night. Moncton is often referred to as "The Hub of the Maritimes" because all railway lines in and out of the region must pass through it. Moncton boasts a vibrant arts and culture scene, sporting competitions, and unique community activities that take place year-round. Discover the many sights and activities the city offers. Be sure to visit the Monument for Recognition in the 21st Century (MR21), an interpretation centre located in the only digital cathedral in Atlantic Canada, where you can learn about Acadian heritage. The city's largest green space, Centennial Park, includes many attractions and activities, from hiking and skiing trails to an artificial beach to an aerial treetop obstacle course and zip line.

  • Day 2 - Flights and Bites Wine Tasting Experience

    The Flights & Bites Experience includes a designated spot in the beautiful award-winning Magnetic Hill Winery, which also contains the world’s “shortest” covered bridge! It's time to let the wine adventure begin!   • Day 3 - Moncton to St.Andrews by-the-Sea

    St. Andrews by-the-Sea has long been one of New Brunswick's premier vacation destinations. Stroll the 27 acres of Kingsbrae Garden, named one of the Top Ten Public Gardens in Canada. Pick up a map at the Visitor Information Centre and explore the historic town plat to see houses that were barged across the bay from Castine, Maine, and then rebuilt here in St.Andrews by the United Empire Loyalists in 1783. Enjoy world-class whale and wildlife sightings, scenic lighthouses and small islands teeming with bird life during this Whale and Wildlife Tour. The captain and crew give expert commentary on the region's culture, history, and wildlife!     Continue north on the River Valley Scenic Drive on to Fredericton, New Brunswick's picturesque capital city noted for its heritage and culture. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring Fredericton and its attractions. Places to visit include City Hall, Christ Church Cathedral, the Historic Military Compound, Old Government House and the Kings Landing Historical Settlement. Kings Landing is a historical experience that explores how history is told and pushes the boundaries! Visit this 300 acre museum, where you'll discover over 40 interactive exhibits, horseback riding, theatre, workshops, immersive programming and a fully 1st person interpreted village where you can step back in time with over 100 costumed characters in 70 historic buildings.     Famous for its world-class salmon fishing and local friendliness, this is one city that lets you experience the best of what the great outdoors has to offer. A trip to the City of Miramichi and its valley is about authentic spirit, nature, and a total sense of renewal. French Fort Cove is a stunning historic area, formally known as Mill Cove, and is perfect for those who love birding, hiking, biking, paddling, zip-lining, or maybe just picnicking while taking in the scenic views. Make sure to visit Boishébert and Beaubears Island Ship building National Historic Site of Canada, which offers costumed guides to learn about the Acadians who took refuge there, and the ship building of centuries past. Take a walk through 30 centuries of Mi'kmag culture. For over 3,000 years, our ancestors have stood above the ancestral grounds of the Mi'kmaq, over looking the Oxbow National Historic Sites.   • Day 6 - Miramichi to Shediac

    Known as The Lobster Capital of the World for lobster fishing, processing plants, live-lobster tanks and the famous Lobster Festival, this is where you'll find The World’s Largest Lobster — Stop and have your picture taken with it! Take a dip in the finest salt water beaches in Eastern Canada! With waters peaking at 24 degrees Celsius (75 degrees Fahrenheit), it’s some of the warmest water north of Virginia. Boating, windsurfing, golf and hiking are just a few of the attractions on or near its pristine, sprawling beaches. Enjoy a 2.5 hrs cruise on a covered boat and learn all you need to know about the Atlantic Lobster. Cruising on beautiful Shediac Bay, listen to a knowledgeable guide who also will guide you carefully through the proper process of cracking and eating a cooked lobster.

    There are many things for people of all ages to do in Halifax. The city deftly blends the past with the present to produce a skyline dotted with elegant 18th- and 19th century architecture alongside ultra-modern towers of glass and steel. The heart of Halifax is perfect for exploring on foot, with tree-lined streets, international restaurants, galleries, libraries and museums. Inviting sidewalk cafés beckon you to relax for a few hours amid park-like, waterfront, and historic settings in the busy downtown, often with a backdrop of the bustling harbour, which entertains ship traffic from every corner of the globe.

  • Day 8 - Harbour Hopper Cruise and Food Tour

    Journey the streets of historic downtown Halifax aboard the Harbour Hopper. Visit historical points of interest such as Citadel Hill, Public Gardens, Government House, City Hall, Museum of the Atlantic and more!     Drive north along the Kejimkujik Scenic Drive via the Kejimkujik National Park; a spectacular inland National Park with walking trails to suit all levels and some of the best canoeing in Atlantic Canada. Visit the excellent visitor center, which houses replicas of the native tools found by archaeologists dating back 4500 years ago. Continue on to Annapolis Royal, nestled in the Annapolis Valley. Sightseeing suggestions in the area include Fort Anne National Historic Site, Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens, the O'Dell House Museum, Sinclair Inn National Historic Site, a delightful waterfront boardwalk and much more. Grand Pre Winery is an award winning, Swiss owned winery in the wine-growing area of Nova Scotia. Stroll leisurely across beautifully landscaped grounds, past row upon row of grapevines.   • Day 10 - Annapolis Valley to Saint John by Ferry

    Take the short drive to Digby. Board the ferry to Saint John, New Brunswick. This ferry crossing ffers a scenic and relaxing crossing of the Bay of Fundy, known for its dramatic tides and picturesque coastal views.

  • Day 11 - Indigenous Storytelling walk

    Prior to the landing of European settlers in what is now called New Brunswick, thriving cultures existed for thousands of years which lived in harmony with the land and the life that resided on it. Survival on this land depended on ingenuity and knowledge wrought from asometimes harsh and unforgiving environment. Discover the local history of the Wolastogi and Mi’kmaq peoples from a unique Indigenous point of view while meandering along the Saint John Harbour and the Beautiful River — Wolastoq. Walk along a historical portage route and over archaeological sitesand become acquainted with the timeless wisdom of our ancestors. Learn how stewardship of the earth should look in a modern world while respecting and celebrating the traditions of the past. Passed down through the generations were the spoken teachings that served as lessons to the younger generations to ensure their survival into the future. Despite today’s world of modern conveniences and industrialization, respect and protection of the land is a way of life still followed today in every aboriginal community across Canada.This is an easy walk on flat paved surfaces. No hills and frequent stops. Other places to visit include Carleton Martello Tower National Historic Site, Saint John Old City Market, Place Fort La Tour, Area 506 Waterfront Container Village and Reversing Falls.

  • Day 12 - Saint John to Alma

    Day at leisure to explore the magnificent Fundy National Park. The park is renowned for its hiking trails, with over 104kms of trails to choose from, ranging from easy 1/2 km loops to a demanding 50km circuit around the park. The park is a haven for bird watchers, golfers, cyclists, canoeists and naturalists. Be sure to visit Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, home of Hopewell Rocks. Visit the excellent interpretive center on site before exploring this natural phenomenon. Twice each day the highest tides in the world — up to 46ft/14m — flood the beach, and twice each day you can explore the floor of the Bay of Fundy at low tide! Created over thousands of years by the Bay of Fundy's awesome tidal forces, the Flowerpot Rocks are a natural wonder not to be missed. If time permits visit Cape Enrage Lighthouse and Mary's Point Bird Sanctuary located nearby.

  • Day 13 - Fundy National park sightseeing

    Another day at leisure to keep exploring the park. From there, visit Cape Enrage, a stunning coastal location known for its dramatic cliffs and historic lighthouse. Next, head to Mary’s Point, a crucial stopover for migratory shorebirds followed by a visit to the Hopewell Rocks, one of New Brunswick's most iconic natural attractions.

Our tours are suitable for all age demographics. The average age of travelers is typically 45+

There are options for single travelers to join most tours. Solo Travelers can choose to pay the single supplement and have their own room throughout the tour. For those willing to share, we also have a Twin Share option that is offered for the majority of our tours. This means you will be sharing the hotel rooms with another single, same gender traveller who also books the Twin Share option. If this is the case, there will be no single supplement charged to either of you. If we are unable to match you with another Twin Share traveler, there may be a single surcharge applied to cover the full cost of the rooms on some of our longer tours. Please enquire before finalizing your booking for full details.

This tour has a low level of physical demand, although there may be some activities or sightseeing tours that require walking short distances. Please inquire if you have any mobility restrictions before completing your booking to ensure this tour is right for you.

Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The weight limit for this suitcase is 32 kilograms/60 pounds. Baggage handling is provided at the hotels in our tour packages. Please advise our reservations staff if you will be bringing additional items such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. You may also bring one small soft-sided carry-on bag, which should easily fit into the overhead shelf of the coach. Each person is responsible for his/her own carryon luggage. Remember to check your airline baggage restrictions if you are flying, as they may differ from Anderson Vacations Tours guidelines.

The suggested allowance for non-included meals is $40.00 — $60.00 CAD per day (includes tipping).

Yes! There are many meals included on our fully escorted tours. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking so we can ensure there are alternative meal choices and arrangements made for you.

For your convenience, gratuities for local guides and meals stated on the itinerary are included in the price of the tour. For meals not included in your tour package please remember that it is customary to tip your server 15-20% in North America. Gratuities for your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are left to your discretion. Survival on this land depended on ingenuity and knowledge wrought from asometimes harsh and unforgiving environment. Discover the local history of the Wolastogi and Mi’kmaq peoples from a unique Indigenous point of view while meandering along the Saint John Harbour and the Beautiful River — Wolastoq. Walk along a historical portage route and over archaeological sitesand become acquainted with the timeless wisdom of our ancestors. Learn how stewardship of the earth should look in a modern world while respecting and celebrating the traditions of the past. Passed down through the generations were the spoken teachings that served as lessons to the younger generations to ensure their survival into the future. Despite today’s world of modern conveniences and industrialization, respect and protection of the land is a way of life still followed today in every aboriginal community across Canada.This is an easy walk on flat paved surfaces. No hills and frequent stops. Other places to visit include Carleton Martello Tower National Historic Site, Saint John Old City Market, Place Fort La Tour, Area 506 Waterfront Container Village and Reversing Falls.

  • Day 12 - Saint John to Alma

    Day at leisure to explore the magnificent Fundy National Park. The park is renowned for its hiking trails, with over 104kms of trails to choose from, ranging from easy 1/2 km loops to a demanding 50km circuit around the park. The park is a haven for bird watchers, golfers, cyclists, canoeists and naturalists. Be sure to visit Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, home of Hopewell Rocks. Visit the excellent interpretive center on site before exploring this natural phenomenon. Twice each day the highest tides in the world — up to 46ft/14m — flood the beach, and twice each day you can explore the floor of the Bay of Fundy at low tide! Created over thousands of years by the Bay of Fundy's awesome tidal forces, the Flowerpot Rocks are a natural wonder not to be missed. If time permits visit Cape Enrage Lighthouse and Mary's Point Bird Sanctuary located nearby.

  • Day 13 - Fundy National park sightseeing

    Another day at leisure to keep exploring the park. From there, visit Cape Enrage, a stunning coastal location known for its dramatic cliffs and historic lighthouse. Next, head to Mary’s Point, a crucial stopover for migratory shorebirds followed by a visit to the Hopewell Rocks, one of New Brunswick's most iconic natural attractions.

  • Day 14 - Fundy National Park to Moncton

    Your trip end in Moncton once the car rental is returned.

Tour Questions

Our tours are suitable for all age demographics. The average age of travelers is typically 45+

There are options for single travelers to join most tours. Solo Travelers can choose to pay the single supplement and have their own room throughout the tour. For those willing to share, we also have a Twin Share option that is offered for the majority of our tours. This means you will be sharing the hotel rooms with another single, same gender traveller who also books the Twin Share option. If this is the case, there will be no single supplement charged to either of you. If we are unable to match you with another Twin Share traveler, there may be a single surcharge applied to cover the full cost of the rooms on some of our longer tours. Please enquire before finalizing your booking for full details.

This tour has a low level of physical demand, although there may be some activities or sightseeing tours that require walking short distances. Please inquire if you have any mobility restrictions before completing your booking to ensure this tour is right for you.

Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The weight limit for this suitcase is 32 kilograms/60 pounds. Baggage handling is provided at the hotels in our tour packages. Please advise our reservations staff if you will be bringing additional items such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. You may also bring one small soft-sided carry-on bag, which should easily fit into the overhead shelf of the coach. Each person is responsible for his/her own carryon luggage. Remember to check your airline baggage restrictions if you are flying, as they may differ from Anderson Vacations Tours guidelines.

The suggested allowance for non-included meals is $40.00 — $60.00 CAD per day (includes tipping).

Yes! There are many meals included on our fully escorted tours. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking so we can ensure there are alternative meal choices and arrangements made for you.

For your convenience, gratuities for local guides and meals stated on the itinerary are included in the price of the tour. For meals not included in your tour package please remember that it is customary to tip your server 15-20% in North America. Gratuities for your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are left to your discretion. We recommend $4.00 - $5.00 CAD per person, per day for your Motorcoach Driver and $6.00 - $7.00 CAD per person, per day for your Tour Director. if you can't find your
