  • Day 1: Calgary

    Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel with a convenient airport to city hotel shuttles available at very reasonable rates from the airport desk. Explore the energetic city streets including Stephen Avenue at your own pace. You may choose to visit the Calgary Tower (optional add-on) and enjoy the vast view including a view of the Rocky Mountains from the 360 Lookout Deck.

  • Day 2: Walking Foodie Tour and Heritage Park

    Start your day with a Food Tour as Calgary is filled with maverick chefs and food artisans keen to showcase the taste of Alberta's bountiful produce. Guests enjoy tastings at six to ten selected locations per tour while also discovering each neighbourhoods history, art and architecture. Tours are two to four hours long and group size is limited to ensure the best experience.Today, your package also includes admission to Calgary's Heritage Park, easily accessible by local commuter train, to experience authentic Western Canadian history at this interactive attraction.

  • Day 3: Calgary to Banff Transfer and Banff Cowboy Cookout Dinner experience

    Travel by mini-coach along a scenic section of Highway 1 from Calgary to Banff. Once in Banff, after a scenic river wagon ride with mountain views, you will arrive at 3 Mile Cabin to enjoy some genuine western Canadian hospitality and have tasty comfort food at an authentic cowboy BBQ. But before digging in, work up an appetite with a few western-style games, like lassoing and horse-shoes.

  • Day 4: Lake Louise and Yoho National Park Tour

    Soaring mountains, stunning lakes and breathtaking waterfalls await you on a tour that explores the stunning lakes and streams of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.From the history of the Canadian railroad to Takakkaw Falls (the second-highest waterfall in Canada!), follow the trails through a park whose name means "awe" in the Cree language. Explore the evolution of the land and discover how it has shaped the appearance of the natural wonders found in these spectacular mountain settings as you visit highlights such as Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls.

  • Day 5: Rocky Mountaineer Rail Experience from Banff to Kamloops

    Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer and watch the scenery unfold as you cross over the Continental Divide to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia's interior. Upon arrival at the Kamloops Station, you will be transferred by motor coach to your overnight accommodation (assigned by Rocky Mountaineer). The pick-up time for tomorrow morning's motor coach transfer to the train station will be posted in the lobby of your hotel.

  • Day 6: Rocky Mountaineer Rail Experience from Kamloops to Vancouver

    After an overnight stay at your Kamloops hotel, transfer by motor coach to the train station. Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer through river canyons, the Fraser Valley and lush Pacific Coastal region. Your final destination is the scenic city of Vancouver.

    Today, we will explore Vancouver's Number One food district.   • Day 8: Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour and Sunset Dinner Cruise

    Included today is a Hop-on-Hop-off Pass, which is a fun and flexible way to see the best of Vancouver! Take a bus, stop at a location, browse around for as long as you want and then hop back onto the next coming bus to move onto the next attraction! You will experience downtown Vancouver at leisure as the bus circles through a series of cultural districts, seaside points of interest, and Stanley Park. Clear top buses for stunning views, rain or shine, and full commentary in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin. During your stop at Canada Place, we recommend the FlyOver Canada experience nearby. The show utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while the film takes you away on an exhilarating 8-minute journey across Canada, from east to west. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combine with the ride's motion to create an unforgettable experience. During the other stops, we suggest exploring Stanley Park and seeing the Lion's Gate Bridge spanning the entrance to Vancouver's port. The longest suspension bridge in the world when it was completed it offers unparalleled views of the harbour and English Bay beyond. Travel to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and walk among the towering trees of this temperate rain forest and learn the ways of the local Indigenous people. Walk across the world's longest foot suspension bridge to the other side of the river where you can climb to the tree canopy and stroll through the "Treetops Adventure" walkway high above the canyon floor and the river below.This evening, see Vancouver from the water with a sunset dinner cruise aboard one of the city's pleasure boats as they take you under the Stanley Park's Lions Gate Bridge and out to English Bay for a magnificent sunset view.

Tour Questions

Our tours are suitable for all age demographics. The average age of travelers is typically 45+

There are options for single travelers to join most tours. Solo Travelers can choose to pay the single supplement and have their own room throughout the tour. For those willing to share, we also have a Twin Share option that is offered for the majority of our tours. This means you will be sharing the hotel rooms with another single, same gender traveller who also books the Twin Share option. If this is the case, there will be no single supplement charged to either of you. If we are unable to match you with another Twin Share traveler, there may be a single surcharge applied to cover the full cost of the rooms on some of our longer tours. Please enquire before finalizing your booking for full details.

This tour has a low level of physical demand, although there may be some activities or sightseeing tours that require walking short distances. Please inquire if you have any mobility restrictions before completing your booking to ensure this tour is right for you.

Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The weight limit for this suitcase is 32 kilograms/60 pounds. Baggage handling is provided at the hotels in our tour packages. Please advise our reservations staff if you will be bringing additional items such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. You may also bring one small soft-sided carry-on bag, which should easily fit into the overhead shelf of the coach. Each person is responsible for his/her own carryon luggage. Remember to check your airline baggage restrictions if you are flying, as they may differ from Anderson Vacations Tours guidelines.

The suggested allowance for non-included meals is $40.00 — $60.00 CAD per day (includes tipping).

Yes! There are many meals included on our fully escorted tours. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking so we can ensure there are alternative meal choices and arrangements made for you.

For your convenience, gratuities for local guides and meals stated on the itinerary are included in the price of the tour. For meals not included in your tour package please remember that it is customary to tip your server 15-20% in North America. Gratuities for your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are left to your discretion. We recommend $4.00 - $5.00 CAD per person, per day for your Motorcoach Driver and $6.00 - $7.00 CAD per person, per day for your Tour Director. if you can't find your
