There is much to discover during your time in Pape'ete, on the idyliic South Pacific island with a very French flair, Tahiti. Spend a day discovering the 'Real' Pape'ete shopping at Le Marché and the colourful boutiques all along the waterfront. Take a walking tour of Old Pape'ete, take a walk at Paofai's garden and at the Marina of Pape'ete. Do pearl shopping and a visit to the Pearl Museum, visit art galleries and enjoy dinner at the roulottes in the waterfront area of Vaiete Square.Spend another day doing a circle of the island of Tahiti by bus or car. Follow The Monoï Road and picnic on a black or white sand beach. Tour the museums around the island and hike with a guide up Aorai Mountain.You will have time to take a day trip to Mo'orea by fast catamaran from Tahiti, jump in a 4×4 and explore the interior and enjoy a tasting at a fruit juice factor or shop for crafts made in Mo'orea.Return to dine at one of the locals' favorites around Pape'ete or at one of the beautiful world-class restaurants in the resorts.There will be time to snorkel in the clear waters around the resorts, hire a dive master to learn to dive or explore the sunken vessels and coral walls. A sail on a catamaran or deep sea marlin fishing are other options.
