As a responsible tour operator, we believe in creating experiences that not only enrich your life but also contribute to the well-being of our planet and its communities. That’s why we will be planting one tree for every passenger that travels with us.
Embark on a travel experience that will stay with you forever. We offer a blend of culture, adventure, and tranquility, ensuring every moment is filled with wonder. Whether you’re seeking thrill or relaxation, we create journeys that are truly unforgettable.
THE JOURNEY BEGINS
Make your way to the Jewel of the Rockies, Banff and hop on a sleigh ride with family, friends or loved ones. Meet at the stables and get to know the horses and staff before departure. Look around you and take in the breathtaking views of the magnificent Canadian Rocky Mountains with white-crested peaks. The sleigh ride will pass through the Bow River Valley, showcasing some of the most remote areas of Banff, in western style! End the day cozied up by a fire and a hot chocolate.
Banff National Park is home to one of the longest ski seasons in North America and three world-class ski areas, which are all located within 45 minutes of the Town of Banff: Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village, and the Lake Louise Ski Resort. All of these mountains are fantastic options with ski runs for all skill levels and abilities. Enjoy a day skiing or snowboarding and experience the "champagne powder" Banff is known for. There are also beautiful chalets at each mountain for those who like to relax, with scenic views and a warm drink.
Today, depart on an afternoon of introductory snowshoeing through rows of forests and an abundance of wildlife. Travel to Kootenay National Park and admire the dramatic colours of Marble Canyon. See how the pounding and frozen waters of Tokumn Creek have eroded a 40-meter-deep limestone gorge. Walk through the forest left standing from the 2003 Kootenay fire and search for snowshoe hare, moose and wolf tracks while exploring how the landscape is changing and animals are adapting. Take in a breath of the fresh mountain air and feel the serenity of the remote wilderness.
Hike on steel walkways built into the canyon walls that give an airy view of the canyon below. Travel through prime wildlife habitat on your way to the trailhead and learn the clues to how Johnston Canyon was formed. This popular, easy hike will lead you past the lower falls and to the breathtaking jagged upper icefalls. It will appear as if the frozen waterfall is one massive icicle! Make sure to bring your camera for this adventure.
This marks the end of your Canadian Rocky Mountain Adventure. Depart Banff and transfer to Calgary before heading home.
All prices are per person based on double occupancy and subject to local taxes - GST, PST or HST.
