Overnight: Halifax
Today you will explore Halifax by land and sea onboard Halifax's most popular tour. Join a full narrated amphibious tour and enjoy stories of the Halifax Explosion, Halifax's connection to the Titanic and the rich history of the Canadian Naval dockyards. Sitting 10 feet high, you will have an exclusive view of the historic, vibrant city's famous sights, such as the Halifax Public Gardens, Citadel Hill National Historic Site, St. Paul's Church and bustling Spring Garden Road. The real adventure begins when you make a big SPLASH into the Halifax Harbour! Your driver is now your Captain, and it's time to explore. Prepare your camera for unique photos of Georges Island, Cable Wharf, the waterfront boardwalk, and the Historic Properties.The afternoon you will join a two-hour Lobster & Lighthouses Tour to experience life at sea by taking in the sights and sounds of the Atlantic coastline. Visit some of the oldest yet still functioning lighthouses in North America, including McNabs Island Lighthouse, Georges Island Lighthouse and Maugher Beach Lighthouse. The crew will pull a real lobster trap from the Atlantic waters, demonstrate how it works, and allow you to examine any captures sea creatures before sending them back to the sea. Observe and touch real marine like from onboard marine touch tank and witness the spectacle when invited to feed seabirds! After returning to downtown Halifax, the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Today you will meet your tour guide to explore the quaint neighbouring towns of Lunenberg and Mahone Bay on Nova Scotia's South Shore. They are rich in history that dates back to the 18th century. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lunenburg is host to many treasures and places of interest such as the Bluenose II and the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic.Before the tour heads back to Halifax, there will be a stop in Mahone Bay. A scenic and hospitable community which offers a plethora of shopping, charming cafes, and copious photo opportunities of the town views and especially of the iconic Three Churches.
Overnight: Halifax
After some free time to explore Halifax on your own for the morning, you will be picked up for your afternoon tour to well-known Peggy's Cove, a small fishing village home to only 32 year-round residents. As you travel along the winding coastal highway of the Lighthouse Route to the tiny fishing village of Peggy's Cove, this little wonder has been an inspiration for artists and an irresistible lure for budding and seasoned adventurers for generation after generation. The colourful houses and fishing shacks perched atop the solid stone rocky outcrop that overlooks the restless waters of the Atlantic exhibit the wear and tear of the ocean and its punishing storms.

Upon check out of your hotel, your package ends, however, you may choose to do last minute exploring before departing Halifax. You could take the time to walk along the Harbour Front, discover the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 or maybe discover Halifax's oldest brewery on an Alexander Keith's brewery tour.
