THE JOURNEY BEGINS
Welcome to Edmonton, the capital of the Canadian province of Alberta, located on the North Saskatchewan River. There is no shortage of things to do in Edmonton that will make your inner arts and culture lover jump for joy. Live theatre, art galleries, and countless festivals are just the beginning. Here, every season is the festival season.
A unique, easy to learn and relaxing way to discover Edmonton is to join our included Segway Tour along the quiet pathways of the River Valley. You will receive in-depth training from a Segway certified trainer who will go over the skill you need before heading out on your adventure. You will be surprised at the ease of operation these scooters that require no balance and no previous experience. Enjoy the experience of a lifetime as you ride through Edmonton's world-famous river valley. Edmonton is known for its foodie scene and today you'll experience this for yourself. Join a local expert food guide and explore one of Edmonton's food-focussed neighbourhoods while learning about the history, art and culture of the city along the way. On your food tour you'll enjoy 6 tasting stops along route stopping at both sweet and savory local establishments. An after dinner suggestion would be to visit Edmonton's 24-hour Neon Sign Museum which features a collection of 20 functional historic signs that tell a story about Edmonton's neon past. These are located on the east wall of the TELUS building and the south wall of the Mercer Warehouse building on 104 Street and 104 Avenue and are a completely free attraction.
Your package ends this morning as you check out of your hotel. If you're driving you might take this opportunity to visit Elk Island National Park before heading home.
